What a beautiful morning at the Gilbert Arizona Temple. The temperature was a little cool this morning. The sky was the most gorgeous deep blue. A perfect day for a wedding. Hilary and Kevin were married this morning. All their family and friends came to see them. Here are a couple of fun shots after the sealing with their family and friends.
Marissa and Connor were great to work with at the Gilbert AZ Temple for their wedding. The Temple was beautiful as it always is.
Working with Ana and Christian was fantastic. I always am so lucky to have the best brides and grooms. They are always so in love at the Temple! It has been a neat experience to have so many weddings to shoot at the new Gilbert Temple. The grounds are looking so nice. I love the water feature and the pergola’s on the South side of the Temple. Here is the first part to Ana and Christian’s wedding video. It was fun to work with my friend Tami Webb on this one.
Another beautiful June wedding at the Gilbert Arizona Temple. Ana and Christian will be married there this Saturday. What a fun, easy going couple. Today was my first time to meet them. When Christian arrived we had him turn around so that Ana could “sneak” up on him for the first look. I love shooting the first look at the Temple. The first look makes for such a neat shot. The expressions are always great. Shot around the Temple with my friend Tami and then right about sunset headed out to the field just to the East of the Temple.
The Gilbert Temple is such a beautiful place for photos. The Temple has been operating now for about three months. I would imagine hundreds of weddings have taken place there at this point. I have shot at close to 20 weddings there now. There are so many great spots around the grounds for photos. I do wish the Temple grounds were open on Monday like the Mesa Temple is. It would be nice to be there with a bride and groom on the grounds shooting photos and videos when we could have the place to ourselves.
Kalee and Austin will be married at the Gilbert AZ Temple in about two weeks. I had a fun time working with my friend Cami on this shoot. I love the first look shot of Austin and Kalee right before he turns around and sees her in her wedding dress for the first time. After some photos and video at the Temple we went to a location in San Tan Valley with really tall corn (ok it was too tall) and some open fields with much smaller cotton.

It is not very often that I go to a wedding and see something I haven’t seen before. However over the weekend the DJ at the wedding set up a light with the bride and groom’s name on the side of the mountain next to the reception. I have seen a light like this before projected on a wall in a room, but his takes it to a whole new level. It is a little hard to tell from the photo but from top to bottom that design is about 75 yards. The guests were amazed.
Had an opportunity last night to work at a new wedding and reception location in Mesa. The Gather Estate is a perfect central location for Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, and Queen Creek LDS wedding receptions. Gather Estate really is located in a great spot for both Mesa Temple weddings and Gilbert Temple weddings.
This was my first time to work at Gather Estate and I am sure I will be back. I see lots and lots brides choosing Gather Estate as their ideal location for their wedding reception. It really is a perfect set up for LDS wedding receptions. I was able to meet with and talk with the staff and owners during the evening. They are super friendly, helpful and responsive to the bride and her guests.
Gather Estate has some great spots for photos including a vintage barn wood backdrop. They have lots of great vintage wedding details that make for a custom look for your wedding photos and video. Your guests will love the unique lighting setup during the evening that makes it easy for them to enjoy themselves in the outdoor setting.

The weather is holding out still with fantastic temperatures and beautiful sunsets. It was a perfect evening to get together with Katie and Timo at the Gilbert Temple for wedding photos and video. Katie and Timo laughed so much together during the bridals that it made it so easy to capture wonderful candid shots. It is obvious they love being together. I just love Temple weddings.
I love the colors that Katie chose. Her flowers were beautiful. Walked around the Temple for some great shots of the two of them and then out to the field for a wonderful sunset shot with the Gilbert Temple in the background.
