I had a great time working with Heidi and Jamison at the Gilbert Temple for their wedding. As always a super easy couple to shoot for and perfect weather for video at the Temple. It was fun working with my friend Andrea Brewster for this wedding.

What a beautiful day for a wedding at the Gilbert Arizona Temple. You can’t really beat a November wedding at the Temple. Beautiful blue skies, perfect temperature and a light breeze. Kayley and Weylen decided to wait until the wedding day for Weylen to see Kayley in her dress. We got together about an hour before they had to be in the Temple to get ready for the sealing. I had Weylen wait outside the doors. Kayley then walked up slowly and Weylen turned around. I love capturing that moment. It is awesome to see the groom’s face as he sees his bride in her dress for the first time. Seriously, it is magical. We then went around the Gilbert Temple grounds for some bridals and bride and groom shots. OK we also got a few groomals. 🙂 After the sealing we took some family photos on the steps of the Temple and then off to the North side for a little shade. Kayley and Weylen left from the Gilbert Temple in a yellow Corvette.
I get so busy with shooting and editing sometimes blog posting gets put on hold. What an awesome summer we had shooting wedding photography at the Gilbert Temple and other LDS Temples around the Southwest. It was hot at times there is no doubt but that was broken up nicely with a few trips to California and Utah Temples.
Here is Jon and Stephanie from the Gilbert Temple a short time ago. I had an excellent time taking their wedding photos. As always my couples are the easiest and nicest people to work with. Not just the bride and groom, but the families are always so great as well.
Shooting in the summer at the Gilbert AZ Temple can be a little on the warm side. I had a great time working with my friend Lee on this one. Lee shot the photos and I shot the video.
Mackenzie and Jason will be married in a few weeks but wanted to get the photos and video done in advance to make the wedding day really easy. I couldn’t agree more.
One of the best things about the summer in AZ is the monsoon sunsets. The sunset did not disappoint.
We had a huge amount of rain (ok, granted alot for AZ isn’t really alot) here in the Valley last night. It made for some really great looking clouds this morning at the Gilbert AZ Temple. The wedding photos at the Gilbert Temple this morning turned out fantastic. I actually don’t do photos on the morning of the sealing very often. Usually we try to take photos at the Temple a few days in advance around sunset but because of Brian’s school schedule it just didn’t work out. I am glad it didn’t as the photos were really unique and it was a blast to shoot with different lighting. The Temple grounds were perfectly cleaned from the rain, the grass was green and I love the blue sky mixed in with the clouds.
I am honestly the luckiest photographer in the world. I have the nicest, easiest to work with couples of all time. They love the Temple, they love each other and they love photography. Kylie and Tyler were no exception to this. They had so much fun together during the photo shoot at the Gilbert Temple. They will be married in a few days but wanted to have photos ready to display at their reception so we got together early for their wedding photos and video. We had a wonderful time and another incredible sunset at the Temple.
I seriously have the best brides and grooms to work with. They are so easy going and so much fun to take pictures of. I just love the sunset photos we always get at the Gilbert Arizona Temple. The sunsets in the field to the East of the Temple are amazing. Always better with a few clouds as well.
Spring break at U of A equals lots of weddings at the Gilbert Temple this year. What a fun filled week with six weddings at the Gilbert Temple. Danielle and Phil were one of my couples this week I had the opportunity to photograph. Danielle is friends with a former bride I shot for many years ago who has now moved to Colorado.
I got together with Danielle and Phil the day before their wedding this week. They drove up from Tucson a day early so we could get some great photos without all the hustle that always happens on the wedding day. I love shooting photos and video on a day different then the wedding. It really lets us focus on the couple and get some really great shots without any time constraints.
Here are a couple of my favorites from their Gilbert Temple Wedding Photos. I offer wedding photography and videography at Temples all over the United States. See some of my other work at MormonBride.com and MormonWeddings.com
Hayden and Jake are married. What a blast the last few days have been to take photos and video of them and their family both at the LDS Gilbert Temple and at their reception at the Encanterra Country Club in San Tan Valley. We had perfect weather at both the Temple and at Encanterra. Tyler and Terrel both helped out on shooting the video while I took care of the photography. We have the most amazing pictures and video from the Temple and reception. Here are a few of my favorites. You can see more of their photos at MormonBride.com
Hayden and Jake will be married this Friday in the Gilbert AZ Temple. I love doing wedding photography at the Gilbert Temple. Hayden and Jake have been together since high school and now about to be sealed for eternity 🙂
Here is Jake right before Hayden walked up to him and they saw each other for the first look at the Temple.
